meet the team

Born and raised in Oakland, Laura has been a hairstylist for 13 years professionally . Laura is excited for the opportunity to create a new space for her clients to feel comfortable and beautiful. She loves creative cuts and colors, romantic hair, and a good makeover. You will know her by her silver mow-hawk and love her for her fierce dedication to her clients and team.

This is Kim Berry. She has been doing hair for ten years. She loves embracing the natural texture in hair with cut and color. She enjoys helping clients solve their styling challenges (and sometimes their life challenges). Kim LOVES the Oakland A's, bright lipstick and cute animals. She is your best bet for discovering new restaurants and venues in the East Bay. She will probably sing at some point during your appointment, she will tell you funny stories and she will remind you how awesome you are!

This is Vivian. She has been doing hair for 7 years but she has been giving her friends mowhawks and pink hair since she was a teenager. She loves the creativity of coloring hair and the structure of precision cutting. Vivian loves building relationships and making her clients feel the best. She volunteers at Project Homeless Connect, providing haircuts for homeless men and women. She is excited to be a part of the team at Lola Salon and looks forward to building relationships with new clients.

Molly has lived in Oakland since before it was cool. She likes goofy looking dogs, overalls, and can work a Seinfeld quote into any conversation. She believes the bigger her hair, the higher she will fly. Molly has been doing hair professionally since 2012. She might try to talk you into bangs, and she sure likes a curly bob. This gal loves a cold foggy beach day and takes her iced coffee with a splash of cream. Molly does not like hugging strangers or things on high shelves.

This is Liz. She comes from the mountains in Southern California. She attended college for theater in Los Angeles. She has been doing hair professionally for 6 years. She is an educator for Davines, and a certified Deva stylist. When not in the Salon, she can be found reading all the books or wandering the woods. She solemnly swears she is up to no good.

This is our junior stylist Sarah! She moved from Maui to the Bay Area where she freelanced as a makeup artist. It wasn't until she got a part-time job at a hair salon that she knew in the hairspray filled world was where she belonged. If you spend enough time with Sarah, you will end up with a braid in your hair. She loves working with natural textures and is a seriously proud chocoholic.
